A Message from Transportation – Regarding Friday 13, 2025
Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
This letter is to inform you that the Friday the 13th Port Dover motorcycle celebration will again mean Lakewood and St Cecilia buses in Port Dover will not be operating as those schools will be online learning only.
Port Dover buses will not be performing PICK-UP or DROP-OFF services on Friday June 13, 2025, meaning no transfer buses will be operating either. Simcoe Composite, Holy Trinity, St Joseph’s, Ecole Ste Marie and Waterford High School students if needing transportation that day will be able to ride from stop area #1 DeKoning Restaurant Hwy #6 near St John’s Road for P/U departure by bus # 1894 at 8:15 am and D/O at 3:40pm or at stop area#2 St John’s Anglican Church the corner of St John’s Road and Hwy 24 for P/U departure by Bus # 1894 at 8:25 am and D/O at 3:30 pm. It is the parent’s responsibility to deliver and pick up student)s) to stop area on time. The bus will not wait.
